"The Crate" was the first feature horror comedy film from Scared Stiff Films. "The Crate" was filmed in (2004) and was shot in New York City, Hartford CT and Upstate New York."The Crate" was a student film which sparked the interest of several horror distribution companies who saw a screening of the film at several horror and comic book conventions and in (2007) "The Crate" was distributed by Maximedia  and "Brain Damage Films" located in Tempe Arizona. "The Crate" was sold in a few boxsets in major retail stores.
